RCMP RELEASE:
A search warrant executed in Kehewin Alberta, led to the seizure of crystal methamphetamine, guns and recovery of stolen property.
On April 28th, 2024, members of the Bonnyville RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in Kehewin Cree Nation, AB.
During the search police located the stolen property, drugs and firearms that included:
- Stolen Milwaukee tools;
- A stolen ATV;
- Stolen Identification;
- Two firearms;
- 69.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine;
- Evidence consistent with drug trafficking.
41 year-old Randall GADWA of Kehewin Cree Nation was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property over $5000, Unlawful possession of a firearms, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, careless use of a firearm, ,Identity theft and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited. Randall GADWA was brought before a Justice of the Peace and released from custody to appear in court on May 7th, 2024 in Bonnyville.
